Help with invitation band

I finally have my invitation designed and I am stuck on how to "close" it. I ordered the Perfetto folded  envelope from Cards and Pockets and I would LOVE to somehow use a Rhinestone Crystal Buckle Slider instead of a textured paper belly band - does anyone know how to do this?

Here is a picture of what I am looking to achieve (I would use a different shape cystal though).

    I've not done this myself but just looking at it, I'd say you'd need to attach the buckle to the ribbon and then slide the whole thing over the invitation, if that makes sense. I don't think it should be very difficult.

    The buckle might be purely decoration and the ribbon is actually held in place by a glue dot

    Yes ma'am. My invitation bands had them, which is why I'm assuming.
