Talking tummies...

I was at the library today and while I was skimming through a wedding planning book, my stomach decides to growl, it was long and loud, sounded just like a dying whale. People started looking around trying to figure out who it came from, so what did I do? I joined them...

    This happened to my brother in the middle of church once. We're both agnostic/atheist but we went for our Nana's 80th birthday. First, our breakfast total at Hardee's was $6.66. Then my brother's stomach made this horrible gurgling sound in the middle of a prayer, so I got the giggles. Later on, my brother had a horrible coughing fit (I think from trying to stifle laughter). My dad was SO mad at us later... I'm just glad the roof didn't cave in on us when we walked in.

    TBH I feel really bad for Punxsutawney Phil.  Poor little guy doesn't even realize the pressure on him and now some jerks are clamoring for the death penalty for him getting it wrong.  Even as a kid I knew he wasn't an accurate predictor of the season change. 

    I always assume winter will end sometime in August.  Then I'm never disappointed.
