New USPS hours - send invites sooner?

Now that the USPS is no longer delivering/picking up mail on Saturdays, should invites be sent sooner than 6-8 weeks out? 7-9, maybe?

Effective in August, of course.

Edited because I got the numbers wrong.

    6-8 weeks is still fine.

    I thought I read that Congress had overruled the USPS stopping mail service on Saurday.  Anyone else?

    Also, that change only affected mail carriers, not the whole system.

    Ditto- I read that Congress put a stop to that and USPS is still required to provide service on Saturdays.

    My local post office is really small so they are only open for about 2 hours on Saturdays anyway, but I don't think that will make a huge difference in the service. I think its safe to send them out in the 6-8 window.
