T&P's--sorry, kind of long....

Hi ladies. As most of you probably know, we are really close with H's great aunt. She lives right down the street from us and H grew up very close with her. She is 94 years old and is alive as they can be. We recently (like in the past 2 months) took away her license. She was still driving all over the place but had a minor accident and we felt it was time for her to stop driving. You would never believe she was 94 if you met her. She is a reverend and is actually the one who married us at 92 years old!

Anyway, she went to the doctor last week for a routine physical and the doctor felt a mass in her stomach. Sent her for an ultrasound (thinking it could be a hernia). The ultrasound ruled out a hernia so they sent her for a catscan. She got the results yesterday and she has a large mass on her colon. They aren't sure if it is cancer or not but the doctor thinks it is. She has lost 8 lbs recently and that combined with the mass could mean it could be cancer. The good news is that it has not penetrated the wall of her colon and the doctor thinks it should have given how big it is so that is why she is not 100% that it is cancer. Regardless of whether it is cancer or not, she will need to have radiation/chemo to remove it. They don't want to do surgery bc of her age and the size of the mass. She is going back to the doctor tomorrow to discuss a biopsy. Hopefully we will know in the next week or so, definitively, what it is.

Anyway, any spare vibes you have would be great.....
