Hi Ladies!
So I have two gowns. I was on a TV show and was pressured (by my entourage) to get the gown I had on. My mom bought it, it was $1200 (not bad), it is a gorgeous gown but I didn't feel I was in love with it at first. I know my dream gown was out there but I had to try it on.
My first mistake was never going dress shopping ever before they taped the show, I never got that experience. Anyway, my MOH and I went to a bridal shop where they carry Eve of Milady. Found my dream dress, gorgeous, I cried. They tell me its discontinued (??) and they have to call EOM to see if they can make it which they probably can't.
Low and behold, they can make it, at a pretty penny. Is it a sign?!?! Dress was $$$ anyway but my point is do I wear the first dress to the ceremony with my faux fur shawl and then the Eve dress to the reception? Eve dress has straps and wouldn't look good with the shawl that I really want to wear to the ceremony.
And please don't think I sound like a princess - I work hard and paid for the second gown myself. I am torn! What do you all think?
